The 2026 Lip Sync & Talent Show was a huge success! Fans filled the auditorium of OCIS to watch their talented friends and teachers perform. The display of talent and school spirit was astounding! Thank you for all your support!
Reminder: Friday, May 15 is an early dismissal day for students and a PM in-service day for staff.
Congratulations to OCIS students Nico D'Intino, Tierney Kane, Nicholas Kalatsjov, and Leah Datti on being recognized at the 2026 Academic Achievement Night sponsored by the Ocean City & Upper Township Rotary Club on Monday, May 11th! These students were honored for their academic achievements, leadership, and involvement in extracurricular activities and school events. We are proud of their hard work and dedication both inside and outside of the classroom!
Last Wednesday, May 6th, OCIS students participated in our “Bike and Roll to School Day!” Students who signed up received a free bike light generously donated by community member Mr. George Bauer.

Today was National Bike & Roll to School Day! Students met at two locations this morning and then “Biked with a Cop” to OCIS. Escorted by OCPD officers, they made their way to school, while learning important safety tips along the way. This event helps promote safe biking practices and encourages students to use safe routes to and from school.
OCSD teachers spark inspiration and instill knowledge each day. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We are so grateful for all that you do!

The OCIS Brain Bowl team earned an impressive 3rd place finish at the annual Quiz Whiz competition held at Holy Spirit High School. Competing against a strong field of teams, our students showcased their knowledge across a wide range of topics, including computer science, politics, math, and pop culture. Their quick thinking, teamwork, and depth of knowledge were on full display throughout the event. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and outstanding achievement!

Bring Your Child to Work Day was a huge success! We were excited to welcome our staff’s children into our school community for a day of learning, exploration, and fun. This special day gave children a glimpse into our school environment and the important work our staff does each day.
