This is a reminder that the Ocean City Intermediate School will be operating on an early dismissal schedule Wednesday, October 16 through Friday, October 18th due to parent teacher conferences. All OCIS students will be dismissed at 12:10pm.

OCIS went pink today to raise funds for the Cancer Support Community NJ! During lunches, students had the opportunity to purchase pink hair clip extension. All proceeds benefited the CSCNJ and their free programs. Thank you to our amazing PTA and volunteers for providing this opportunity for our OCIS students and staff to support this great cause!

Our annual Halloween Dance for 6th-8th Grade students will be held on Friday, October 18th from 7:00-8:30pm in the OCIS cafeteria. The Ocean City School District, in collaboration with Mainland Regional, Greater Egg Harbor Regional,  Egg Harbor Township, and Cape May County Special Services school districts, will be hosting their first Cape Atlantic League (CAL) Unified Sports 5K Run & Walk on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024. The route will begin at the Transportation Center at 9th Street and Haven Avenue in Ocean City, travel the length of the Route 52 causeway, and end at the John F. Kennedy Park in Somers Point. OCIS was so excited to welcome students back to school today for the start of the 2024-2025 School Year! Students enjoyed pretzels donated by the Ocean City PTA, arrived to a live DJ, and were welcomed by a balloon arch donated by the Ocean City Education Foundation.
