The Ocean City PTA kicked off their biggest fundraiser of the year today at OCIS - the Ocean City Color Run! Our goal is to get 65% of students signed up on MYBOOSTER.COM! We are already at 11%!! If we get 20% of students registered by TONIGHT we will have a PJ Day on 11/13! Just for signing up, you get 5 FREE entries into the giveaway prize drawing. In order to win, students must be signed up with a parent or guardian’s valid email address. Tonight’s giveaway is a Tortilla Blanket!

OCIS showed off their creative Halloween costumes today! A special thank you and shout out to the OCPTA for donating a candy bar for all of our students and staff.

This is a reminder that on Thursday, October 31st all OCIS students are permitted to wear a Halloween Costume to school. Please review the guidelines below to ensure the safety of our students on this day.

Red Ribbon Week will be held next week at OCIS from Oct 28 - Nov 1st. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to raise awareness and prevent drug abuse, alcohol, tobacco, smoking, and violence. It's the longest-running and largest drug awareness program in the United States. All students are encouraged to participate in the daily themes outlined on the flyer below.

This is a reminder that the Ocean City Intermediate School will be operating on an early dismissal schedule Wednesday, October 16 through Friday, October 18th due to parent teacher conferences. All OCIS students will be dismissed at 12:10pm.

OCIS went pink today to raise funds for the Cancer Support Community NJ! During lunches, students had the opportunity to purchase pink hair clip extension. All proceeds benefited the CSCNJ and their free programs. Thank you to our amazing PTA and volunteers for providing this opportunity for our OCIS students and staff to support this great cause!
