The summer students have been tending to the Mikenzie Helphenstine Helping Hands Garden, learning all about gardening and the science behind it. They've also been exploring new recipes using the fresh fruits and vegetables they've grown. It all started on Earth Day, when 3rd-grade students began preparing the garden. Now, about three months later, Mrs. Sharon Naplacic and Ms. Louise Nunan brought together families and community members for a wonderful day of teamwork and gardening. The garden has blossomed into something beautiful!
The first week of our summer program wrapped up today! It surely feels like summer now! Happy Fourth of July, everyone! 🇺🇸

From bouncing around in the giant inflatables to taking a splash at the dunk tank and making new furry friends at the petting zoo, the excitement was nonstop all day long. On Friday, May 31, we celebrated the retirement of two of our finest: Ms. Theresa Boylan & Mrs. Peggy Totten. Retirements are bittersweet—happy for them, but sad for us. Theresa and Peggy have been integral to our Ocean City Primary School family, impacting everyone, including our 305 students. Wishing them the best in their next chapter!
