What a magical day at Ocean City Primary School! Yesterday, we had a special visitor – none other than Santa Claus himself!
The students were filled with joy and excitement as Santa made his grand entrance, spreading holiday cheer to everyone. There were smiles, laughter, and even some sweet wishes shared with the jolly old man.
OCPD also provided our students and staff with a pizza lunch, OCPS shirts, and other goodies donated by Johnson's Popcorn and the Ocean City Free Public Library!
A big thank you to Santa and the Ocean City Police Department for making this holiday season extra special for our school community.
Yesterday, the Elves on the Shelf paid a special visit to Ocean City Primary School and brought a little extra magic with them! These sneaky little visitors came to life, surprising students and spreading holiday cheer throughout the school, with a little help from OCPD!
Last week, our PTA held its annual "Secret Santa Workshop" where our students had the opportunity to play the role of Santa Claus and purchase gifts for their families! We know everyone will love all of the special items that the children handpicked for them!

Benefiting the Cancer Support Community NJ at Gilda’s Club, Pink Hair Day is held annually in honor of Mikenzie Hepenstine, also known as “Coach H” to the OCSD community. She was a teacher, a coach and is an OCSD Angel. She pushed everyone to do their best, "til you can’t!" All proceeds from the day are benefitting the CSCNJ and the free programs they offer.

The Ocean City School District, in collaboration with Mainland Regional, Greater Egg Harbor Regional, Egg Harbor Township, and Cape May County Special Services school districts, will be hosting their first Cape Atlantic League (CAL) Unified Sports 5K Run & Walk on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024. The route will begin at the Transportation Center at 9th Street and Haven Avenue in Ocean City, travel the length of the Route 52 causeway, and end at the John F. Kennedy Park in Somers Point. Proceeds from the 5K benefit the CAL Unified Sports program, fostering inclusivity between our special education athletes and their peers.
